US Sports Camps and Nike Running Camps Open Registration for 2016 UCSC Cross Country Camp

The Nike Cross Country Camp at UC Santa Cruz is an experience that will inspire runners to be their absolute best. 

San Rafael, CA: On August 4-7 this summer, Nike Running Camps is bringing back a one of a kind experience on the California Central Coast. The Nike Cross Country Camp at UC Santa Cruz is for high school runners, and offers beautiful coastal and beach running trails as well as a stellar coaching staff. Through many years of experience, Camp Director Adam Boothe brings a passion to his camps that resonates strongly with his athletes.

This running camp has been described by a past camper as ‘inspiring.’ “The Nike Cross Country Camp at UC Santa Cruz was the perfect balance of intense training and great fun. Coach Boothe was very inspiring and encouraged me to push myself to achieve my absolute best.”

Nike Running Camps is thrilled to host this opportunity again for California runners. During their time at camp, athletes learn what it means to be a “complete runner” through training runs and motivational clinics. They learn the importance of nutrition and strategy, making them better athletes when they return to their high school or club programs. Both Extended Day and Overnight options are available. Overnight campers will stay on campus in student dorms.
