Adelphi University Advanced Soccer Camp

February 10, 2010

The Adelphi University men’s and women’s soccer program and head coaches Carlo Acquista and Rich Ilsley will be holding an overnight soccer academy starting July 24 and running through July 27. The academy is designed for boys and girls, age 14-18. During the academy the players will have the opportunity to experience all that Adelphi’s brand new facilities have to offer including the locker rooms, training facilities, pool, and the opportunity to play under the lights on Adelphi’s Competition Field Soccer Stadium.

The Camp will be a great opportunity for players to get a feel for what a preseason college experience is like. It will focus on all the aspects of the game a college player must be able to perform including advanced technical, tactical, and functional training at the highest level. Each day the players will get a feel for not only what is expected from a Division I and Division II soccer player on the field but also off the field in classroom tactical sessions. This camp is ideal for any player who wants to get a glimpse at what being a Division I and Division II athlete is all about. Check out Nike Soccer Camp Adelphi University.
