Elite Coaching Staff at St. Ignatius College Preparatory For Upcoming Nike Soccer Camps
St. Ignatius is located in San Francisco's Sunset District
US Sports Camps is excited to announce Edson Cardona as coach at this year’s Nike Soccer Camp at St. Ignatius College Preparatory. This camp is open to Boys and Girls of all skill levels, ages 6-14. The camp will run for four weeks during the summer: June 8-12, June 15-19, June 22-26, and July 13-17.
Edson Cardona is an experienced soccer player, coach, and leader. Cardona played college-level soccer at Santa Clara University from 2013-to 2017 and played on the El Salvador U-23 National Team for the Brazil Olympic Qualifiers in 2016. He played professionally in Europe for Zejtun Corinthians in Malta First Division, SV Rottenman in the Austrian Landesliga in 2019. He then returned to the United States to play with the Ontario Fury in the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) where he was named the 2019-2020 Community Player of the Year. Cardona was the Head Coach for the Valley Christian High School Girls JV soccer team in the 2018-2019 season and the FC Golden State 2012 Boys in 2019. Most recently, he became the Assistant Coach for Valley Christian High School Girls Varsity Team for the 2021-2022 season.
Cardona currently plays professionally for Bay Cities FC in the Bay Area and in 2021 Co-Founded PMP Academica. PMP Academica programs are designed to help the player achieve and perfect their skills in no time. PMP Academica focuses on making each player grow into the best player they can become, through various training, fitness, and tactical sessions. Cardona saw an opportunity to create training sessions that would help them create a pathway to accessing collegiate and professional levels. Edson received his BS in Business Management from Santa Clara University
