Getting to Know: Ben Belletto, Director of Tennis at Whittier College
An instructor for 4 years and now in his 10th summer as Co-Director, Ben Belletto is a legend at the UC Santa Cruz Nike Tennis Camp. He has coached juniors to collegiate level players for over 15 years, is currently the Director of Tennis at Whittier College and previously spent 10 years coaching at Pomona-Pitzer. Come join Ben and the entire staff this summer for a memorable experience at UC Santa Cruz! See you on the courts!

Why did you get in to coaching?
I love every aspect of coaching. It’s been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember.
What is your favorite evening activity at camp?
Competitive Games night! So many great memories from this night at UC Santa Cruz, it's always a hit!

If you could “borrow” one stroke from a current pro player, who would it be and why?
Federer’s forehand because it is the best combination of art and science.
