Blake Borden
Director
Blake Borden is a cross country coach, as well as distance track and field coach at Huntsville High School in Alabama. He has coached the Panthers since 2016.
In his first four seasons at Huntsville High School for cross country, participation has more than doubled. As a distance coach in track, he has never failed to qualify an athlete for the State meet and in XC, has won sectionals all 4 years and never failed to get a team to State. While at Huntsville, his team has won two boys’ team titles in cross country, & finished runner up another time. In track he has coached athletes to break multiple school distance records. Highlights: 2018 indoor girl 800/1600 7A state champion, school record indoor/outdoor girl 800 times. 2018-19 indoor and outdoor 4x800 boys state champion relay team. 2019-20 indoor 4x800 boys state champion relay team. Coached top four 5k times in school history in the 2019 season alone, and 8 of the top 10 since 2016.
