In 2017, Coach Holl was honored as the Pennsylvania 5a Coach of the Year after guiding the Gateway Gators to a state championship appearance. Coach Holl will be entering his seventh season as Gateway Head Coach after leading the Gators to a 5-1 record, and a PIAA semifinal appearance in 2019.
In 2018, Coach Hall was named the Big East conference coach of the year. Coach Holl has “looked through the facemask” or “worn the headset” for 42 seasons, 12 as a player. Coach Holl’s playing career culminated with a noteworthy career at the United States Naval Academy. The highlight of Holl’s playing career came at Notre Dame stadium where he scored his first collegiate touchdown against the Irish. Coach Holl recently completed his 30th season of coaching football.
