Dr. Jones

Dr. Jones will be helping with event management at NBC Camps including scheduling, assisting parents, and overall supervision and operations. Dr. Jones is a very qualified leader of youth events and NBC Camps is thankful to have his professionalism and excellence in helping create a fantastic summer camp experience.

James L. Jones is currently a Senior Manager with the State of Alaska and retired active-duty Air Force member. Dr. Jones leads the day-to-day operations of a nationally recognized, successful accredited education program for 16-18 year old young men and women. Dr. Jones also serves as the Chairperson of the National Training Committee for the National Guard Youth Challenge Program and advises leaders at the 39 sites located in 29 states, D.C., and Commonwealth of Puerto Rico on organizational culture, and staff efficacy. His additional areas of focus include understanding and developing the mental complex, mentoring principles and reconciliation.

Dr. Jones has walked in his calling of family and youth development in various capacities dating back to July 1986. He served as a Youth Pastor in Littlerock, CA and Anchorage , AK before establishing Embassy Christian Center in Eagle River, Alaska. He holds a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Friends International Christian University and along with his wife Princella have a blended family of eight children. The Jones Family has made Eagle River their home for nearly 30 years.
