SSC, SCS, CES, CFSC, CTBS, CSSN (Director of Operations, Athletic & Curricular Development) Guy Massi is a former competitive athlete, and as a father, brought up a household of competitive athletic boys of his own. Nearly thirty years have passed since receiving the very first certification that jump-started his journey of individual performance coaching for athletes and clients as a part-time means to supplement his income. Now, he is now a locally, nationally, and internationally recognized speaker, trainer, and coach to elite athletes and workforce clients, as well as upper-tier corporate, military, and emergency personnel.

In his more than three decades in the field, he has been developing athletes and fitness clients of all ages and levels under his training methodology, which set the trajectory for his becoming a highly respected coach, subject material expert, and industry resource to professional athletes and teams from all sports, local, collegiate and national athletes, as well as institutions and organizations including yet not limited to; World Recording Holding Sprinter Dedrick Clark, NFL player agent Kevin Fitzpatrick, the Hong Kong National Ice Hockey Team & Academy program director, German Olympic Field Hockey Team, Adler-Manheim German Professional Ice Hockey Team, Bundesliga Academy & Soccer Team, German Olympic Lifting Coaches, Tsunami Barbell Flexible Barbells, Boditrak & Swing Balance Velocity/Force/Balance technologies, and many others. More than merely understanding the physiological requirements associated with developing performance in athletes and clients, he is truly a master of recognizing and nurturing the emotional component. Suffering the loss of both of his parents by the time he was eighteen, Coach Massi has turned various challenges into victories and has learned the art of perseverance. Guy said, “Due to seemingly insurmountable challenges in my teenage years, I once ballooned to over 300 pounds – and it was all emotional! I had two options; 1) either succumb to defeat or 2) overcome and serve as an example to others. – I chose option 2”.
