Jared Zimmer

While a student at Rocky Hill School, Jared Zimmer ’89 was a captain of the Boys’ Varsity Soccer and Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse teams. In 2013, Jared was the first head coach of the Cranston West High School Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse team.
While at Cranston West, he received the 2013 Division III Coach of the Year Award, the 2016 Division II Sportsmanship Award, and the 2016 Rhode Island Lacrosse Officials Association’s Ted Gilmartin Sportsmanship Award. He currently serves on the Executive Board of the East Greenwich Youth Lacrosse Association and has led their Division I team to a 2018 State Championship. Jared also coaches youth lacrosse in East Greenwich and is a Rhode Island Lacrosse Official.
