Kiana Calles is the assistant volleyball coach at Skagit Valley College.
I got into coaching by starting off helping with my dads club team SIVA at the age of 18, over the last 7 years I’ve learned so much and wanted to get out there and continue to grow the sport I grew up loving. Watching the progression of players through camps is the most rewarding moment as a coach and to watch players fall in love with the sport I have such a deep passion for! I have been playing the sport of volleyball competitively since I was in 5th grade then through college (played at Skagit Valley College then transferred to Pacific Lutheran University) and was fortunate enough to have accrued MVP at both colleges and Skagit Female Athlete of the Year in 2016. I still play in as many adult tournaments, whether it’s indoor or outdoor! I am going into my 7th year of coaching club and going into my 3rd season as the Assistant Coach at Skagit Valley College. I have helped out with Nike Volleyball Camps the last 4 years and excited to be back in the gym again! I look forward to meeting you all and seeing hungry athletes!
