CAMP OPTIONS
Please note: Camp schedules and details may be subject to change. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff and placed into groups based on age and ability level.
OVERNIGHT CAMP SCHEDULE
- Dates: 2026 Camp Dates Coming Soon
- Camp: Sunday-Saturday
- Ages: 14 - 18
- Check-in: 5:00pm on Sunday on campus.
- Check-out: 7:00pm on Saturday following the awards ceremony.
- Meals: Overnight campers will receive all meals during the duration of camp (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
- Dorms: Dorms TBD.
- Program: This program is designed to improve the fundamentals and technique for all wrestlers. Campers can expect to receive instruction though the use of drills, live wrestling, and fun games/activities.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Multiple training sessions and camp activities each day.
- Supervision: Campers are supervised at all times.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
- Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own wrestling shoes, comfortable workout clothes, headgear (optional), knee pads (optional), snacks, and a water bottle.
- Facilities: Campers will utilize the main gym at Montreat College's McAlister Gymnasium as well as the wrestling team's training room.
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
- Housing:
- Dorm: TBD
- Campers Per Room: Campers will be housed in quad rooms (four roommates per room).
- Roommates: Campers stay in four-person rooms and are assigned by age and roommate requests. If you have a roommate request, and have not previously provided us with the information, please do so no later than 14 days prior to the camp start date. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
- Linens: Sheets (twin), towels, blankets, pillow.
- Air Conditioning: All rooms will be air-conditioned.
- Key Deposit: TBD
- Spending Money: We recommend that each overnight camper bring $60-75 per week of spending money to cover incidentals like snacks, souvenirs and other activities. Please bring cash in a marked envelope for your child.
*Staff members reside in campers’ quarters and participate in all activities.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.
- Comfortable athletic workout gear enough for nine days (t-shirts, shorts, socks, etc.)

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is provided to and from the airport if needed. Camp director will connect with all campers to receive flight itinerary at least one week prior to the camp start date.
GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a group of three or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of six or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $30 discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 or [email protected] with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during check out.

McAlister Gymnasium
Located on the main campus in Montreat, McAlister Gymnasium is home to the men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams. An extreme makeover in the summer of 2008 saw new bleachers, wall padding, a state-of-the-art scoreboard and new flooring installed. The gym floor was also repainted in the summer of 2013 with the new athletic logo. McAlister Gymnasium houses the athletic administration offices in addition to offices for men's and women's basketball, volleyball, softball, baseball, men's and women's cross country, golf and tennis, men's and women's track & field and women's soccer. McAlister Gymnasium has served as home to both the men's and women's Tennessee Virginia Athletic Conference basketball champions in 1999-00, women's basketball TVAC regular season and tournament champions in 2001-02 and Appalachian Athletic Conference Volleyball Champions in 2011 and 2012
