ROSS VALLEY NIKE LACROSSE CAMP -
Redwood High School,
CA
For the fourth consecutive summer, the Nike Lacrosse Camp at Redwood High School returns. USSC and the Ross Valley Lacrosse Club offer this four day camp which runs Monday - Thursday, 9:00am-3:00pm each day.
This is a 'complete skills' camp designed for players ages 8-14. In addition to group drills, personal instruction and scrimmaging, a special lacrosse video session is held each day in a nearby classroom, exposing
campers to the highest level of play.
Redwood High School boasts one of the best turf fields in Marin County. This type of field helps campers familiarize themselves with playing the game at a high speed, forcing greater anticipation and quicker mental reads, but with a feel that is more like grass.
Co-Directors of the camp are David Grose and Blake Kim.
As a Division I player at the University of North Carolina, Coach Grose helped lead his team to 3 ACC Championships and 2 Final Four appearances. His post-collegiate career has been as an attackman with the Marin Lacrosse Club, winning a total of 8 State Championships. David has coached all levels of lacrosse, from youth to the college level, and is currently the Head Coach of the RVLC Junior A Team.
Coach Kim played collegiate lacrosse at the University of Albany (NY) and was

inducted into the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002. He competed in the 2002 World Lacrosse Championships in Perth, Australia as a member of the Korean National Lacrosse Team and continues to play post-collegiate lacrosse with the Barbary Coast Lacrosse Club and the Crease Monkeys Lacrosse Club. He has coached at nearly every level of lacrosse, from youth leagues and camps to Division III NCAA teams. Blake is currently the Creative Director for
www.talonlacrosse.com and will be
serving as co-head coach for the U-15 Northern California All-Star Team that will be traveling to the most prestigious U-15 Tournament in the nation (in Baltimore, MD) to compete for the U-15 National Championship.
