Located only two hours south of San Francisco in the heart of beautiful Monterey Bay, the CSUMB campus is surrounded by several popular destinations such as Big Sur, Cannery Row, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel-by-the-Sea, 17-Mile Drive and a number of world-class golf courses like Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay and Spyglass.
This "complete skills" camp takes place each day at the CSUMB grass lacrosse complex while overnight campers are supervised in student dormitories located just up the road from the fields.
Camp Director is Mario Enea, founder of Braveheart Lacrosse. Mario Enea enters his 24th lacrosse season this spring. With over a decade of experience directing Nike Lacrosse camps, coach Enea is excited to share his passion and teach campers the great game of lacrosse.
As a player at U.C. Berkeley, Mario was captain of his team, a two time All-Star and WCLL Champion and played in the 1995 North/ South Division I All Star Game at Johns Hopkins University. A former professional indoor lacrosse player, Mario has coached numerous teams over the past 10 years including Santa Clara University, Santa Catalina School and, his alma mater, The Robert Louis Stevenson School. Currently he directs the CLC Select Fall Box League and BraveHeart Lacrosse Academy, an elite travel program. Mario continues to run indoor & outdoor tournaments Little Brother of War, BraveHeart, War on the Floor & Battle of the Bay.
Joining Coach Mario on staff is Phil Trapp. A graduate of Stevenson School '05, Trapp was a 4 year varsity starter, 3 year captain, 2X MVP, and received US Lacrosse HS All-American honors in 2005. He was a captain for the USA West (U-19) Lacrosse Team and went on to play at Claremont Mckenna College ('09). At CMC, Trapp was a 2 year captain, a SLC All-Conference player and currently holds the record for most assists.
