University Of Virginia - Charlottesville, VA

The University of Virginia in Charlottesville is one of the finest institutions in the country and one of the nation's first public universities.  Surrounded by the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains and offering moderate weather year-round, Charlottesville and the University draw visitors from around the world. The Sheridan Snyder Tennis Center is conveniently located near UVA's Central Grounds, and features 13 courts, spectator seating for 1,000 fans, a scoreboard and sound system. In the event of rain, campers will use the newly expanded Boyd Tinsley Courts at the Boar’s Head Sports Club.

Director Information
The camp is directed by Head Men's Tennis Coach, Brian Boland.  Under Coach Boland's leadership, the Cavalier men's team has risen to the very top of the Division I college rankings with a "final four" NCAA Championships finish in 2007.  Beginning with five seasons at Indiana State and over the past six years at Virginia, Boland has proven to be one of the elite coaches in collegiate tennis. Assisting Coach Boland is men’s assistant coach, Tony Bresky, and volunteer assistant coach, Jason Cole. As he enters his sixth season at Virginia, Coach Bresky has emerged as one of the top assistant coaches in the nation. The 2005 ITA National Assistant Coach of the Year, Bresky has teamed with head coach Brian Boland to build the Cavalier program into one of the nation’s elite. Cole is in his second season with the Cavalier coaching staff after a standout collegiate career at Ferris State University in Michigan.
