Camp Director Meera Ratte
Meera Ratté joined the Pomfret faculty in 2023 as an admissions counselor and head girls varsity basketball coach. Ratté coached at the collegiate level at Amherst College during the 2022-2023 season. Coach Ratté has been coaching at summer basketball camps for 10 years and enjoys the skill-building, relationship-building, and fun that happens in the summer.

Camp Check-in: Monday at 8:30am
Closing Ceremony: Friday at 2:30pm
Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
Daily Hours: MON-FRI 9AM-3PM
BASKETBALLS
Nike Versa Tack Basketballs can be purchased during registration for $30. Players can choose between a size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys) ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a basketball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.

If there are any imperative changes prior to camp start, registered campers will be notified via email and this webpage will be updated!
HEALTH & RELEASE FORMS
All registered campers are required to have a parent or legal guardian fill out US Sports Camps’ mandatory Health & Release Forms online before arrival at camp. The State of Connecticut requires a copy of camp participants’ most recent physical and record of immunizations, shots, etc., in addition to the US Sports Camps health and release form.
PACKING LIST
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

● Small gym bag/backpack
CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.
