Chris McLaughlin
Chris began playing golf at the age of six and then competed in numerous junior and amateur events throughout the country. He received a scholarship to play collegiate golf at New York’s Binghamton University. Upon graduating, Chris spent two years working in the family business before deciding to turn professional.
Chris began his professional career in New York’s Metropolitan Section before spending time coaching in Michigan, Florida and North Carolina. Chris is currently a senior golf coach at The International Junior Golf Academy in Bluffton South Carolina. As a PGA member certified in teaching and coaching, Chris brings his passion for helping others to the IJGA. Outside of golf, he enjoys many activities which include, baseball, fishing, stand-up paddle boarding, hiking, playing guitar, drawing, reading, skydiving, fitness, and anything else that involves being on the water.
