Coach Butterfield is a graduate of the University of Missouri. In 2008 he decided to go pro. Uruguay in South America is where his career got started. Darryl went to the city of Dubai in the United Emirates to play professional basketball. He signed with Baniyas Club and carried them to their first National Basketball President's Cup in Abu Dhabi, United Emirates. Even though he enjoyed his time in the Emirates, he decided to sign with a team in Bahrain and later played in Istanbul, Turkey and retired in Kuwait. With his experience, Darryl continues to coach young players with knowledge and fundaments of basketball during summer and spring camps. He now specializes in Defense at Oakwood University.
