Grace Labadie

Head coach Lauren Sinacola added a piece to her staff, announcing the addition of Grace Labadie as her assistant coach prior to the start of the 2023 season.

"I am very excited about adding Grace to our coaching staff. I have known Grace for a long time and I've been very proud watching her begin her coaching career from afar," Sinacola said on the addition. "It was a simple decision when I had the opportunity to bring her out here to join our staff. Grace was a midfielder/forward that played at a high level and in a few different environments. She is passionate about the game, but more importantly she appreciates all the game can do for athletes both on and off the field. She is a great fit for our program and I am confident she is going to continue the progression of where this program is aiming to go."

Since 2020, Labadie has coached on the club circuit for TKO Premier SC and World Champion Soccer Academy helping maximize players skill sets and grow their game to the next level.

As a player, Labadie helped lead Grand Rapids FC of the UWS Tier 2 win the National Championship in 2017. The following season she was named UWS All-Midwest First Team and All-UWS Second Team after tying for the team lead in points with eight goals and eight assists in 30 appearances.

Labadie spent the final three years of her collegiate playing career at Western Michigan with Sinacola as her head coach during her sophomore campaign. In Labadie's first year with the Broncos, she led the team in goals and goals, finishing her career with 12 goals and 19 assists in 58 appearances.
