Kelly Covert

Kelly Covert is the Head Volleyball Coach at Little Elm High School

Coach Kelly Covert was born and raised in Gainesville, TX. She was a standout athlete in volleyball, basketball, softball, track, school cheer, competitive cheer and competitive hip hop dance. She played Volleyball for 8 years. In 2019 she was Bi-District Champs and with her consistent leadership and quality play her and her teammates broke a 17 year playoff drought. She began coaching at the age of 15 and fell in love with helping develop young athletes. She is currently her 4th year as a head coach (6 years of coaching altogether) at Little Elm High School. She went to The University of North Texas and received her BS in Kinesiology. She also obtained her MS in Sport & Performance Psychology from The University of Western States.

Coach Kelly is a young, motivated coach who seeks the opportunity of coaching/developing student athletes reach their potential. Her goal is to impact lives in a positive way from start to finish, whether that’s on the court and/or off the court.
