Kyle Homeyer is the Assistant Women's Volleyball Camp at the University of Portland.

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Homeyer’s journey in volleyball began in High School before continuing on to Quincy University, where he played Volleyballl & Football while pursuing his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences1. His passion for the game led him to further his education, earning a master’s degree in education from the University of Missouri1.

Homeyer’s professional career in volleyball took off when he served as the Director of Volleyball Operations at both the University of Virginia and Ohio State University after serving for two seasons at Saint Louis University in 2011-2013. In 2016, While at the University of Virginia, he was appointed as Assistant coach for the U.S. Men’s Sitting Team.

His experience with USA Volleyball has been significant. As the assistant coach for the U.S. Men’s Sitting Team, Homeyer has contributed to the team’s success and growth1. His commitment to the sport and his ability to nurture talent have made him a respected figure in USA Volleyball1.

In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Homeyer has been actively involved in USA Volleyball Training Sessions and Events, by way of officiating, directing, or broadcasting.

Currently, He is currently the Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach for the Pilots and the Camp Director at the University of Portland.

He aspires to foster not only talent in the next generation of volleyball players, but people who want to give back to the sport which has given him so much.
