Omar Gawish
St. Francis College Soccer Player
Omar Gawish began his soccer journey half way across the world 17 years ago in Cairo, Egypt.
Omar’s soccer experience has spread from academy level in Egypt at the Shooting Club, then carrying over to play travel soccer in New York for Auburndale SC and Brentwood SC. As well as playing Academy level soccer for the likes of Albertson, Metoval and BW Gottschee. Where he experienced winning multiple league titles and 2 state cup championships. He also was a 3-time Nationals semi-finalist. He is currently a member of the Division 1 Men’s Soccer program at St. Francis College, where he has accomplished an NEC championship in his first season with the Terrier’s.
As for Coaching Omar’s experience began his at BW Gottschee Academy working with kids ranging from 4-14 years of age since 2020. As well as experience coaching at the Nike soccer camp. Currently, Coach Omar still works at BW Gottschee Academy in addition to his job at Upper Westside Soccer.
