Johan Grande

Johan started playing soccer in Flushing Meadow Park, 16 years ago. Johan's experience includes youth travel soccer, academy player, and currently a D1 soccer athlete for St. Francis College and has over 1,000 minutes played.

Johan has played for Albertson, and Met Oval. With Met Oval he has won the Pre Academy League after beating Philadelphia Union 3-2 in the final which got the team a ticket into Nationals. In Nationals Johan played every minute as the team went undefeated into the final in which they lost to San Jose Earthquakes which made them runner up in Nationals. Johan has won the NY state cup back to back in years 2018-2019. As for his collegiate level, Johan has been two years at St. Francis College where he has logged over 1,000 minutes played. In his first year at St. Francis he was able to be named NEC champion along with his teammates after beating LIU, which sent them into the NCAA tournament. In his second year Johan and St. Francis came short from being crowned NEC champs again.
As a coach, Johan has worked with all ages. In 2018, Johan has coached with Paraguay Soccer Club at the same park in which he started playing soccer. In 2021, Johan coached in a Nike soccer camp in which he coached kids of all ages. In 2021, Johan was offered a job at WestSide Soccer and is currently coaching there.
