Layton Kirsch

Directing camp this summer is Layton Kirsch. Layton has been working with swimmers to perfect their technique and progress their performance in the pool for almost ten years. He started working for the Pendleton Swim Association as an assistant coach for five years until he moved to Corvallis, Oregon and became a developmental swim coach/strength and conditioning coach for the Corvallis Aquatic Team where he still resides.

He has a degree in Kinesiology from Oregon State University and is a Certified Functional Strength Coach. Layton's goal is to protect his athletes from injury while improving their efficiency of stroke technique by engaging, supporting, and encouraging them through drills in and out of the pool. He also focuses on promoting holistic health habits through education about nutrition, sleep, and a positive mentality to increase athletic performance.
