Directing camp will be former University of Virginia captain and Xcelerate Lacrosse Founder Steve Anderson!
Coach Anderson is a former University of Virginia captain, two-time NCAA Final Four competitor, and NCAA North-South Collegiate All-Star. With extensive coaching experience at every level, he has served as an assistant coach at both the Division I (Virginia) and Division III (Whittier College) levels.
From 2010 to 2013, he served as the Head Coach of Rocky River High School, transforming the program into a championship contender. During his tenure, he led the team to its first-ever playoff victory and back-to-back State Runner-Up finishes in 2012 and 2013. His leadership also produced the program’s first All-American and three Ohio State Players of the Year.
In 2004, he co-founded Xcelerate Lacrosse alongside fellow UVA graduate and U.S. Lacrosse Hall of Fame inductee Jay Jalbert. Since its inception, Xcelerate has provided top-tier, skill-focused instruction to lacrosse players nationwide, all within a dynamic and enjoyable summer camp environment.
