Mary Herman

Mary is the 7th grade coach at Episcopal Collegiate School.

Mary Herman is excited to be entering her second season with EVA. Mary is also in her first season as the 7th grade coach at Episcopal Collegiate School. She has trained with Coach Eckart and Coach Paige Gantar doing summer camps for the last two summers, as well as doing private coaching.

Mary received several offers to play collegiate volleyball, but chose to focus on academics, graduating from U of A Community College in Morrilton with an Associates degree.

Mary has played school volleyball as a setter since she was 11 years old, receiving several awards with her school team, the Little Rock Flames, and helping to lead them to several successful seasons. She also played club volleyball for four years while in high school as a setter.

Mary loves being a coach and seeing the impact coaches can have on young athletes. Mary loves encouraging and cheering on athletes while still holding them accountable and to a high standard. She is excitable, dedicated, and always looking for new opportunities to grow.
