Aquatics Director
I have been involved in aquatics since I was six years old as a competitive swimmer at the Billerica Boys & Girls Club.
After graduating from Shawsheen Tech High school in 2003, I began my coaching career at both the Club and High School Level. I've had swimmers of mine go on to compete in College at the University of Michigan, University of Delaware, Brandeis University, Stonehill College, Bridgewater State University, Saint Michael's College and Gannon University. One of my swimmers also qualified for 2021 Olympic Trials.
Beyond competitive swimming, I have run successful swim lesson programs at the Waltham Boys & Girls Club, Belmont Hill Club, and Boston Sports Club specializing in helping children aged 3-11. I've also trained adult athletes wishing to compete in both Ironman and Triathlon competitions.
I am a certified Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor, and have taught numerous classes since 2011. With all these skills and training, I have primarily worked in the Aquatics field as a Director/Manager at the Waltham Boys & Girls Club, Belmont Hill Club, and for the City of Cambridge's Recreation Department. I look forward to joining the team at Westfit and helping the Aquatics department thrive and achieve continued success.
