Groups are made based on registration information....Grad Year and Skill Level.  Session 1 of camp will be skill stations and the coaching staff will be doing an evaluation of each group.  If there are campers who need to be moved because of group level being too high or too low they will be notified before the next skill based session.

SCRIMMAGES

All campers will be divided into teams for scrimmages.  All skill levels will be mixed together.  The camper with less developed skills will have an opportunity to play up, try new things and learn from their teammates.  The camper with higher developed skills will have an opportunity to lead, work on things outside their comfort zone and learn from their teammates.  Both are very valuable.

Transportation

The camp is not allowed to offer any transportation to and from camps. The airport closest to the Berkeley campus is Oakland International Airport; San Francisco International Airport is also within a reasonable distance. Campers are responsible for their own transportation to and from camp.

    Learned so much!

The dorms were organized and clean.  The coaches were friendly and welcoming to parents and campers.  The Communication between the parents, coaches, and even the people at USSC was amazing! It really helped parents feel at ease and able to focus solely on our daughters.  My daughter said that she learned so much and already sees a lot of improvement.  She is so excited to bring all her new skills back to her high school team!

    Working hard and getting results!

The Cal Lacrosse camp had an excellent balance of incorporating intense play and fun athletic games. They put a lot of emphasize on working hard and getting results.  The coaches were not only top notch, but friendly and very easy to approach.  They made my camp experience so special and meaningful.  I will never forget my time at this camp, I hope to go again next summer!
