The sun is only starting to rise on the new age of female gamers with icons blazing the trail for generations to come.

In honor of Women’s History Month, I'd love to showcase some real game-changers amongst the Esports community.

These individuals are curating new avenues, not just for themselves but for so many others.

I'm sure if you looked up #WomeninEsports on social media, these women are there! First up to the plate is Nicole LaPointe Jameson, the CEO of Evil Geniuses. It takes a lot to see a need to diversify and even more to execute a vision. She helped launch an education division aimed at exposing students to careers in Esports. How cool is that? This is just the tip of the iceberg by the way.

Next up is Amber Howard who is the head of talent at TalentX Gaming, where she is strategically managing social media influencers in the space. Giving female gamers and other underrepresented individuals recognition. With such a role, she’s building other like-minded gamers up in the industry and preparing them to make their way. It’s not easy, especially with how quickly the environment moves.

Last but not least in the top-tier women of Esports is, Tricia Sugita. Streaming for so many has guided us into the world of gaming, and for Tricia, she was a competitive all-star, In 2020 she became the CEO of the “League of Legends” team FlyQuest.

Encouraging her team & fans to curate healthy habits & focus on their mental health. If you had such power, how would you like to influence your team?

In today’s day and age, it is a marvelous time to decide what you want to accomplish, these women have shown us superb influence and dedication amongst the gaming industry. This month is dedicated to women, and I hope we have inspired you to keep on the lookout for what's to come!
