Nike Boys ID Soccer Camp with Texas Soccer Network

at Nike Soccer Camps
The Nike Boys ID Soccer Camp with Texas Soccer Network will be held on February 18, 2024. Director Zane Barnes and his staff invite all 14 to 18 years old boys who are interested in playing soccer in college or reach that next level of soccer. The ID Camp is designed to provide prospective student athletes the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of our coaching staff and other D1, D2, D3, NAIA and Junior college coaches in attendance.
All camp attendees will receive collegiate-level instruction at Deer Park Soccer Complex from the Texas Soccer Network coaching staff. Camp is designed to evaluate and identify student-athletes interested in reaching the collegiate level and provide high level instruction that players can adapt into their regimen.

Director/Founder of Texas Soccer Network Zane Barnes
Zane Barnes has been named as the assistant men’s soccer coach at Winthrop University. Barnes comes to Rock Hill after spending the past two seasons as the Head Men’s and Women’s Soccer Coach at Northeast Texas Community College.View Zane's Bio ⟩
Assistant Coach Arturo Rodriguez
Arturo Rodriguez joined the IUPUI men's soccer staff in April 2022, coming to Indianapolis from Wright State where he coached alongside head coach Sid van Druenen. During the camp, you will receive collegiate-level instruction from the Texas Soccer Network coaching staff. This is a great opportunity for the prospective student athlete to be evaluated by the staff but also an opportunity for the athlete to evaluate the coaching instruction. You will train using many of the same methods that Division-I programs use. Prospective athletes will train by position and as teams, with dynamic warm-ups, small sided and full field instruction, led by our coaching staff. Format of activities technical skills, ball control, speed of play, attacking, defending, small sided, and full field matches.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
Instruction: Training from the Zane Barnes and the Texas Soccer Network coaching staff
Day campers: Lunch is NOT provide. Please bring a packed lunch/snacks
Supervision: Staff members are strategically placed throughout the camp to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
Ratio: Low camper-to-coach ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle.
Facility: Deer Park Soccer Complex
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital
CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING:
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.
- Athletic clothing
- Extra pair of shoes (for campus tour)
- Soccer Cleats (no metal studs)
- Shin guards
- Water bottle
- Money for campus meal
If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $30 discount. Please fill out the Team Discount - Soccer form with the name of your group and the names of each camper enrolling in the camp and we will create a unique discount code for your group.
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
