Enthusiastic coaches!
August 3, 2018: My child enjoyed learning new skills and improving on the skills he already knew. He also appreciated the enthusiasm his coaches brought to camp each day. As a parent I appreciated how the coaches got to know the kids during the week and took the time to say a few words about each kid on the last day of camp. My son learned how to pass the soccer ball, how to properly shoot at the goal, and how to properly play the defender position.

Coaches were knowledgeable and pushed the campers
August 3, 2018: I, the parent spent a little time watching and listening to the coaches and I was impressed with the instructions and how the coaches instructed. Also, the kids were pushed pretty hard which is good for them. My daughter is entering high school, and felt the instructing at the level was very good. I think she will be back next year.

Highly Recommended!
The coaches were very friendly and made sure the kids were all included. After the first day both my kids felt like they had a personal connection with their instructor. Both kids made new friends at camp and talked about how exciting each day was. They liked how each day had different drills and skills to work on. I thought the camp went out of their way to accommodate for the weather by finding indoor facilities and alternate activities during the heat of the day. It is a camp that we would definitely do again in Corvallis, OR. It was well organized and the communication was just enough to keep you informed. Nike was very prompt to respond back to my emails when questions were asked. My kids couldn't even think of anything to change except make it one more day! Very positive experience for them. Thank you!

Very Welcoming
My daughter's roommate called in sick the day of camp. When we arrived she had already been re-assigned. She felt welcome immediately. The evening activities were fun for her and the plan for the hot weather was great.

Good recreational camp
My son's impression was that the camp might be more about fun than truly improving skills. Now, this is based on feedback from an 11 year old, not direct observation by a parent. But this same kid has played comp level for 4 years, and has weekly one-on-one lessons with an ex-pro where he gets pushed really hard, and enjoys it. He said he didn't ever feel pushed at the Nike camp, and that the broad range of ages and skills meant that the training was more generic. In addition, you all had to deal with some brutally hot weather, and that impacted the camp in a number of ways I'm sure. However, he definitely had fun!
