Loves every single minute of camp

August 8, 2017: She loves every single moment of every last fleeting day in Tahoe each year. Thanks for putting on such a great camp each year. And I'll keep hoping phones and electronics will eventually not be allowed at US Sports camps -- I will forever believe the kids (and their parents) can survive without them!

loved every minute of tennis, off-court activities, and laughs

August 11, 2016: I had the absolute best time at Nike Tahoe Tennis Camp this year. I can't thank Tony Greco and the staff enough for creating the most positive environment possible for improving my game as well as making friends. Every other camper I spoke with after camp loved every minute of tennis, off-court activities, and laughs.

The Grecos do an amazing job year after year

7/12/2016 - JJ enjoyed learning about the different grips (Continental/semi-western/etc.) He also liked working on a spin serve. However, an education on when to use these grips and serves was lost on him. At 10, it's FUN to learn new things, however, further coaching on when/where to use theses grips (spin serve as 2nd serve, not every 1st serve) would have been beneficial. JJ enjoys this camp very much. The Grecos do an amazing job year after year. Thank you!

loved being a camper at this amazing camp

8/3/2015 - I loved being a camper at this amazing camp. I loved this camp so much that when I get older there is nothing I would rather do than be a counselor and give the same experience I had to the incoming campers.

Director Tony does a great job

7/31/2015 - The camp at Tahoe and Director Tony do a great job. My daughter looks forward to attending again next year. She attends a few camps and regularly goes to a tennis academy near our home, but has more fun and enjoys the experience the most here at Tahoe.

we will be back next year

7/25/2015 - Great camp!! My only suggestion would be to provide more info to parents while campers away. This can be done by a simple group email or website with pictures from what is happening at camp. Maybe list activities that kids did during the day. My son LOVED this camp & we will be back next year!!

liked the competition and the variety of activities

should not allow screens during camp

7/23/2015 - The fact that kids are allowed to have screens during the day and evening was disruptive and distracting. Very disappointing. Screens should be banned during summer camps. Totally takes away from the experience. It just really does a disservice to the whole mood at camp to have screens allowed.

Always has the best time at camp

June 26, 2021: Katie always has the best time at Tennis Camp! She loves improving her tennis game, and the coaches are helpful and encouraging. She also loves that there is emphasis on having fun, being a good sport, and keeping a positive attitude.

    Great Camp!

August 8, 2021: Simon improved his game quite a bit in the one week camp. If any room for improvement, maybe a little more coaching about sportsmanship and how everyone wins and loses. But that's a minor quibble. Great camp!

    — Jeff F., Parent

    • 5/5.
    Overall great experience

August 8, 2021: Our player came back each day energized and positive. She seemed comfortable and confident with the environment at the camp. She got lots of time playing different players and getting to hit some balls mixed in with other smart ways to keep kids active and engaged such as a hiking trip, beach trip, dance activity. The awards ceremony at the end was fun and exciting too

    — Alexa L., Parent

    What a great week!

August 7, 2021: What a week! Huge thanks to Tony and his staff for a week packed with tennis—drills and match play both—despite every obstacle nature could muster.

    — Genny B., Parent

    • 5/5.
My daughter improved her tennis and learned more about the game!

July 31, 2021: While they did tennis drills and tournaments to improve their game, the camp also organized activities such as tie-dyes and Zumba’s for kids to take a break and have some fun. The coaches were very encouraging yet put a foundation to be kind to one another and the etiquette of tennis playing. I can see my daughter improved her tennis and learning about the game. Toni and his staff made a video and a graduation ceremony to celebrate the kids’ hard work that week and the parents got to see that in the video. My daughter can’t wait to go back again.

August 12, 2019: The one-on-one attention he received is just top notch - he was coached on so many aspects of his game and had fun while doing it! He also loves the food, loves almost all of the activities (other than dancing), and appreciates having to push himself to be better.

The greccos do a wonderful job

July 20, 2019: This is my girls’ 5th summer at Granlibakken and we simply can’t say enough good things. The Greccos do such a wonderful job making each camper feel happy and confident, and have a great time. They hire a staff that is upbeat and are such great role models. My girls are all average tennis players, and they improve every year at camp. They also work on sportsmanship, positive attitude and being a team player. We couldn’t be happier!

    Had a great time!!

July 25, 2017: Syaa had a hard time initially with the altitude and some personal issues. She hadn't been to sleepaway camp before. The staff did a great job of communicating with us and keep her engaged and motivated. By the third day Syaa had gotten over her issues and was having a great time playing tennis and making new friends. She definitely wants to come back next year which is a great sign - she was asking to return before we'd even gotten into the car to drive home. Big thanks to the staff for their understanding and support. Syaa had a great time!!
