Stanford University To Host Winter Women’s Lacrosse Camp
2016 Winter Elite Camp December 27-30
San Rafael, CA - Stanford University and US Sports Camps, Inc. is pleased to announce the 2016 Winter Women's Lacrosse Camp taking place December 27-30.
Directing camp is Amy Bokker, Stanford’s Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach. “Our winter camp is a tremendous opportunity to train and play over the holiday break and to prepare for the upcoming season.” Since Coach Bokker joined the Cardinal for the 2009 season, she has established Stanford as the West’s premier program, consistently ranked among the country’s Top 20. She also currently serves as an Assistant Coach for the US Women’s National team.
Assisting Coach Bokker at the Winter Lacrosse Camp will be Assistant Coach and Offensive Coordinator, Chelsea Gamble and second year assistant and US national team player, Kristen Carr, along with current and former Stanford Lacrosse players.
“We love working with players from around the country and hosting one of the premier winter college lacrosse camps ,” says Coach Bokker. "It is always one of the highlights of the holiday season."
Designed for rising 9th graders and high school players (ages 13-18) looking to showcase their skills to college coaches. This program focuses on advanced skills, position play, team concepts and an overall intense level of competition. Campers also have the opportunity to compete daily in games against each other.
Overnight campers reside at the Sheraton Palo Alto Hotel located just up the street from the university lacrosse fields. A commuter option is also available for local athletes. For more information regarding availability, pricing and rooming, please visit our website.
