Nike Baseball Camps
Nike Baseball Camps is thrilled to offer a summer program at Boise State University. Open to players of all ability levels, the camp offers a unique opportunity to train under college coaches from renowned institutions, top high school coaches, and current and former collegiate athletes in a fun environment.
Summer Overnight Camp (June 15-19)
The overnight program includes instruction, fun games and competitions for prizes, overnight accommodation, all meals, fun evening activities, and more. The camp staff resides in the dormitories in adjacent rooms to the campers and provides supervision throughout the camp. The camp utilizes Riverglen Middle School, and Storey Park as its training facility.
Summer Day Camp (June 15-19)
The Nike Baseball Camp at Boise State also offers a day camp program for campers who do not wish to stay overnight. This option includes instruction and daytime activities only. The schedule is modified on the first and last days of camp.
The Nike Baseball Camp at BSU is open to any and all entrants and limited only by number, age and gender. The Nike Baseball Camp at Boise State University is not owned, sponsored, co-sponsored or controlled by the University.

Westy McQueen is the owner and camp director for Next Athletes, operator of Nike Sports Camps. Westy has over 10 years of experience operating youth programs and has designed the Next Athletes programs with the purpose of providing a truly memorable, athletic development experience for each child.

Doyle Holt has over 30 years of collegiate and high school coaching experience and serves as the baseball director for Next Athletes.

Sam Phillips is the head varsity baseball coach at Rigby High School and serves as a support staff member for Next Athletes and Nike Baseball Camps.

Certified Athletic Trainer Kulsum Baig
Kulsum Baig is a certified athletic trainer and handles all athletic training needs for Next Athletes’ Nike Sports Camps. With a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from San Diego State University and a Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Injury Management from the University of Kentucky, Kulsum has worked with athletes at the high school, collegiate, and clinical levels.

Camp Details
Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2025 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION
- Dates: June 15-19, 2025
- Age Group: 8-17 (Day), 10-17 (Overnight)
- Gender: Boys
- Camp Type: Day | Overnight
- Schedule: Sunday-Thursday
- Meals: Meals are provided for overnight campers only. Day campers are required to bring their own lunch daily
*Please note: Camp is closed to spectators during daytime hours. Parents are highly encouraged to attend orientation and the closing ceremony!
Additionally, campers will be bussed to a local baseball complex off-campus each day for instruction.
PARKING
Parents can use the West Stadium Parking Lot for all drop-offs and pick-ups. Parking is free.
CAMP TIMES
- Overnight Campers Check-in: 11:30am-12:00pm at the Caven-Williams Sports Complex
- Day Campers Check-in: 12:00-12:30pm for day campers at the Caven-Williams Sports Complex
- Day Camp Schedule: Sunday, 12:00pm-4:30pm; Monday-Wednesday, 8:30am-4:30pm; Thursday, 8:30am-12:30pm. Check-out is following the 12:30pm closing ceremony.
- Orientation (All Campers): 12:30-12:45pm
- All campers should arrive at check-in dressed in their athletic apparel and ready to train.
- Last Day Check-out: Following the closing ceremony at 12:30pm on Thursday at the Caven-Williams Sports Complex
- Closing Ceremony: The closing ceremony will take place at the Caven-Williams Sports Complex. Parents are invited to attend! Campers and parents will depart following the closing ceremony
Please Note: Following camp check-in, all overnight campers will have an opportunity to move into their room in the residence hall briefly, but please come dressed in your athletic apparel for camp.
HOUSING
- Dorm: Chaffee Hall
- Campers Per Room: 2
- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
- Linens: Not included. Bring linens (Twin XL) or a sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel
- Bathrooms: Shared bathrooms
- Air Conditioning: Yes
- Room Key Deposit: Please bring a $115 check made out to “Next Athletes, LLC”
PARENT/CAMPER SEMINARS
Both campers and parents are invited to join us from 7:30-8:30pm each night, the location is to be determined for evening seminars. Seminar topics will include college recruiting, expectations of a collegiate athlete, how to choose the right school, and important sports psychology topics. We also offer opportunities for Q&A with each panel of coaches.
SUPERVISION
The staff reside in the dormitories with the campers and participate in all activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.

PARENT/CAMPER SEMINARS
Both campers and parents are invited to join us from 7:30-8:30pm each night at Behnken Field House for evening seminars. Guest speakers include college coaches, college recruiting experts, current and former collegiate athletes, and our sports psychology director.
INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.
Facility: Caven Williams Indoor Fieldhouse (Indoor Facility)
Please note: Campers will be bussed to a local baseball complex off-campus each day for instruction.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Baseball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
