July 29, 2014: The highlight for me as a parent, the Director, Ms. Sonia Chase, was very personable, caring, nurturer and showed compassion towards the camper. She possesses a great wealth of organizational skills and the entire program along with the staff seemed to operate on one accord and with harmony. As a parent, I felt at ease, knowing that my twelve year old son was in good hands. We definitely will be attending the Nike Boys Basketball Summer Camp next year. It was a great experience for my son as well as for me.

July 24, 2017: Excellent instruction, friendly and encouraging coaches and staff made my daughter want to continue practicing and honing the skills she learned. She was challenged and she enjoyed every minute! The Sonia Chase camp was run extremely well. The kids loved being coached by former professional players and the staff all seemed to really understand kids.

She was able to increase her knowledge about basketball. Ms. Sonia Chase and the camp staff took time to explain various techniques to improve her basketball skills. They also stressed the importance of maintaining confidence. Ms. Sonia Chase was visible and very involved with the daily operations of the camp. We will definitely return to the Nike Camp with Ms. Sonia Chase. Thank you for this opportunity!! As a parent I enjoyed watching Amber and other campers use the techniques that they learned and applying them to scrimmages.

Low athlete to coach ratio. It was worth the trip from Kansas City to participate in this camp. It exceeded my expectations. My daughter came out of this with a new sense of confidence. He attended 2 sessions and was excited to go and truly tired at the end of the day from practicing the basketball he learned.We look forward to spring break and next summer for Nike Basketball Camp in Bowie, Maryland!

July 29, 2016: The Camp Director had incredible customer service and always engaged the parents and the children. As a parent from the day my son started, I loved how she gained my son's attention and respect. Every morning, the camp director would engaged the campers with in depth conversations and geniune concern for how they were doing. My son said that his favorite parts of the camp was when they were working on the jump shot form, the pick up games and the offensive play. He's improved his jump shots, handles, and free throw shots.

Sonia Chase is such a positive rolemodel.

August 1, 2016: Sonia Chase is a very personable and a positive representative of your organization. She was very enthusiastic about Nike and the way you all promote student athletes. She deserves a lot of credit for running the camp and I'm happy that my son was able to experience such professionalism and learn from some excellent coaching. Camp was very well staffed and I could see the individual attention being placed on campers by the coaches as each day progessed. My son felt he was pushed extremely well to better his game. He showed more confidence during his basketball tournament the following weekend.

He enhanced his weak attributes and maintain the skills he already had before camp. Each coach and staff member involved with the camp was phenomenal they encourage the kids I saw campers grow each day I pick my son up from the quiet basketball players to the vocal one everyone improved in such a short period of time this was a great camp this was my son's first experience with a Nike camp and he will continue to go and participate and camps each year

I was also very impressed with the sportsmanship and work ethic that was emphasized. The structure and discipline created a safe environment. July 14, 2019: Mylanie really enjoy her experience at this wonderful Nike camp. She came home every day to show me the new skills she learned during the course of day. I was impressed by was Mylanie’s improvement in her shooting ability. The camp staffers were really enjoyable, engaging, and fun to be around. They showed a lot of patience and gave a constructive insight into skills that could be improved upon by showing. Since camp, she’s been very enthusiastic, determined and persistent to go to the court on a consistent basis to work on the skills she was advised she needed to work on. She can’t wait for next year!

July 31, 2016: My son and I traveled from Korea and this was his 1st basketball camp. He enjoyed the experience and received a couple awards. It was a good experience for him and I both. I really enjoy the experience from start to finish. The awards ceremony and the type of awards was an excellent fit. I plan on having him attend Nike camp next year.

May 9, 2019: Sonia's Spring Camp in 2019 was absolutely awesome! My daughter learned so much and most of all it was evident that the entire coaching staff was not just focused on basketball skills but life skills. Their advice and discussions with the kids and parents were inspiring and motivational. More importantly, being an Active Duty military member I love programs that are disciplined and structured and this camp was both. We are already registered for Sonia's next Camp!

July 25, 2023: The coaches were tough but fair in their assessments. Loved that my child received before and after evaluations with detailed suggestions for skills to work on. Really appreciate the caring environment and so many male coaches that can help teach our boys not just how to play but how to act like young men. Thank you!

July 25, 2022: Everything about the camp was great. First day Sonia Chase explained the policies, safety, skill set, purpose of the camp and how much fun our campers would enjoy. This is my 5th year with Coach Chase and my son doesn't attend any other location. Camp leader was professional and loved all the camper (Coach Raphael McNeil ). Evaluations gave parents a snapshot of their campers potential at the beginning of camp and post evaluation let the parents see growth and points to focus on after camp concluded. I love this camp, the staff and my son will attend until he graduates from H.S.
