Dak Riecke
Coach Dak Riecke brings a wealth of experience and passion to the Nike Lacrosse Program. With more than 10 years of coaching at the high school level, Coach Dak is devoted to nurturing outstanding athletes and well-rounded individuals.
Having been a collegiate athlete, Coach Dak has an in-depth understanding of the game. His time as a player provided valuable insights into the strategies and techniques that lead to success on the field. Now, as a coach, he aims to instill these same principles in his players.
Coach Dak is recognized for their dedication to excellence both on and off the field. He stresses the significance of discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship, believing these qualities are crucial not only for lacrosse success but also for life in general.
Guided by Coach Dak, the Dakota Ridge High School lacrosse program has made three consecutive playoff appearances, all finishing in the top 8 of the state, and secured back-to-back 4A Foothills league titles. Coach Dak's impressive high school head coaching record of 73 wins and 28 losses reflects a coaching philosophy centered on individual skill enhancement, tactical proficiency, and a cohesive team environment. His goal is to assist every player in reaching their full potential, both athletically and personally.
Beyond the field, Coach Dak actively engages with the lacrosse community by organizing clinics, camps, and other initiatives to promote the sport and nurture young talent. He and his staff are dedicated to cultivating a passion for lacrosse and advancing the sport at all levels.
With a master's degree in education and an undergraduate degree in coaching, Coach Dak also serves as a Colorado high school lacrosse committee member, underscoring his ongoing professional development and coaching excellence.
In his free time away from the lacrosse field, Coach Dak enjoys quality time with family, outdoor adventures, and active involvement in their community.
