Sarit Gluz Lewis Clark College Swimming

Sarit Gluz ‘09 returned to her alma mater as an assistant swim coach in 2014 and begins her fifth season in 2018-19.

Prior to joining the L&C coaching staff, Gluz spent two years as an assistant coach at the Division II University of Alaska Fairbanks. Prior to coaching at UAF, Sarit spent two years teaching English in Spain. She began her coaching career at Mittleman Jewish Community Center, coaching their masters program, and at West Linn High School.

As a swimmer, Gluz competed all four years for the Pioneers, specializing in butterfly and IM races. She was a finalist in the Northwest Conference Championship, as well as a team captain her senior year.

Gluz graduated from Lewis & Clark with a degree in Hispanic Studies with a Latin American Studies minor. Gluz studied abroad in Chile the fall of her junior year.

Her favorite spot on the L&C campus is a three-way tie between the Stafford study room in Watzek library, the outdoor pool, and the Trail Room.

Gluz, along with head coach Chris Fantz, started the L&C Aquatics Masters team based out of Lewis & Clark College.
