Sahil Mehra

Rodolfo Ulloa and Sahil Mehra started the Nova Soccer Academy in 2012. After coaching together with the DC United Foundation for several years, the two decided to start their own soccer academy to provide the highest soccer training experience for children.

Sahil and Rodolfo have gone through extensive training with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), the DC United Foundation, and the US Soccer Foundation and together have more than 30 years of coaching experience.

Sahil has grown up and lived in Mclean, Virginia since childhood. His foot has been on a soccer ball since he was 3 years old, starting off in the Mclean Youth Soccer league and playing until he was 18. He has played on several travel teams around the Washington DC region and continued his soccer career while studying at George Mason University. He was part of George Mason intramural soccer throughout his college career. Sahil has been coaching for many years around the DC area, including coaching with the DC United Foundation. Through this program, Sahil continues to receive yearly training by the US Soccer Foundation and the NSCAA. He is the site director of Harrison Recreation Center, managing one of Soccer for Success's programs. He is responsible for coaching a group of 100 children, running practices, and incorporating a healthy lifestyle program into every practice.

Children respond positively to his coaching style, his love for the game, and passion for teaching. USSF & NCSAA licensed.
