Rodolfo Ulloa

Rodolfo Ulloa and Sahil Mehra started the Nova Soccer Academy in 2012. After coaching together with the DC United Foundation for several years, the two decided to start their own soccer academy to provide the highest soccer training experience for children.
Rodolfo and Sahil have gone through extensive training with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), the DC United Foundation, and the US Soccer Foundation and together have more than 30 years of coaching experience.
Rodolfo was born and raised in Costa Rica. After a rigorous soccer training, he played professional soccer in Central America, and Middle East. He played varsity soccer for the college that he attended in the United States. He has won numerous awards for coaching soccer in the DC area. He coaches the Cardinals; a division team that is based out of Washington DC. Rodolfo also coaches for the DC United Foundation.​ Through this program, Rodolfo receives yearly training by the US Soccer Foundation and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). He is the site director of Park View Recreation Center and is responsible for organizing and coaching more than 80 children. His team has placed 1st many times in the DC United nonprofit league and last year won 1st place in the Harvest Cup in Maryland. In addition, Rodolfo coaches with Washington DC’s Department of Parks and Recreation.
His rigorous coaching style emphasizes the importance of discipline, respect, and a strong soccer foundation. USSF & NSCAA licensed.
