Become a more sound and fundamental player this fall at our Nike Softball Camp at Tsunami Academy. Coach Ellazar is excited to bring her accomplished playing and coaching background to this motivated group of campers. Coach Ellazar and staff will ensure each athlete is learning the skills required to maximize their potential on the field.
This camp will teach you how to properly approach the game as you will take part in hitting, position-specific drills, game situations, and team play. This will be a great opportunity to make new friendships and keep your skills fresh during the fall season.

Camp Director Sky Ellazar
A native of Maui, Hawaii, Ellazar played collegiate softball at the University of Maryland, where she was named to the All-Big 10 team in her time with the Terrapins, and graduated with the second-best career batting average in program history (.333). While competing at Maryland, Ellazar also played for the Philippines National Softball Team, helping them to a silver medal finish at the Asian Championships, one of the best finishes in the history of the National Team.

Camp Details
Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2023 CAMP INFORMATION

- Age Group: 8-18
- Camp Type: Day
- Camp Schedule: 10:00am-2:00pm
- Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
- Meals: Lunch is not provided.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Daily Softball Instruction: Proper Dynamic Warm Up, Small Footwork / Agility Session, Arm Care and Warm Up, Defensive Basics and Footwork, Hitting Breakdown, Use of Hit Trax, Throwing Velocity Analysis.
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
- Nike Sports Camp T-Shirt, Wristband, Sticker, and Potentially Other Prizes!
INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.
Facility: Indoor facility.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Softball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.
