Camper Evaluation

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability. Parents are invited to attend the closing ceremony! Departure immediately following.

Transportation

Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.

Registration Packet

A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.

Scholarships

We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.

Group Discounts

If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $20 discount. If 10 or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $40 discount. Teams can register online or via mail/fax.

  • To register your team online: Please have a team contact reach out directly to the USSC office at 1-800-645-3226 to receive a discount code to identify your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the coupon code during check-out.
  • To register your team via mail/fax: Click "Get Brochure" above and print the application. All applications must be received at the same time via mail or fax. If all members of your group pay with a Visa or MasterCard, feel free to fax your applications to 415-479-6061 to expedite processing.

Princeton Day School Upper Gym

Princeton Day School is a private coeducational day school located in Princeton, New Jersey, serving students in grades Pre-K to 12. Campers will utilize the Upper Gym and Gymnatorium for basketball instruction. The Upper Gym, the first gym on campus, is home to Panther Girls and Boys Basketball and Volleyball teams. The Gymateria is a room that houses a cafeteria for our Lower School students during the school day and is used for volleyball and basketball practice and games after school.

*Please note, the Princeton Day School gym is not air-conditioned. Camper safety is always our number one priority. The gyms can get warm but we take every possible measure (fans, open doors, and plenty of water breaks) to ensure campers are playing in a comfortable and safe environment.

The entire coaching and coordinator staff accommodated his needs

My son was recently diagnosed with a serious medical condition. The entire coaching and coordinator staff accommodated his needs and went above and beyond to ensure he had a great time. He never felt like he was a burden and as parents, knowing that we had many eyes and ears to help us with this issue was truly in the spirit of the African proverb "it takes a village to raise a child." Thanks to everyone, especially his individual coaches who always said to me, "I got this." He will definitely be back next year with a few friends. Last, I appreciated the disciplinary style of the coaches, they let the players know who was in charge.

One of the best summer basketball camps.

August 12: 2016: The camp was very well done and organized. It is probably one of the best summer basketball camps my son has attended. I liked the warmup drills to begin with and then pushing the kids through the day. My son gained some confidence and improved. Plan to attend every year (if possible).

My daughter has already asked to go back next year.

August 8, 2016: Joel runs a great camp and my daughter has been a rerun camper for 2-years straight. She has already asked to go back next year. Although she is an advanced player, she enjoyed playing with girls of various levels as well as  the strength and agility drills and coaches v kids games.
