PlayVS and US Sports Camps Partner to Launch Virtual Esports Camps
April 29, 2025 PlayVS, North America’s leading amateur esports platform, and US Sports Camps, the official provider of Nike Sports Camps and the largest sports camp operator in North America, today announced a multi-year strategic partnership to offer virtual esports leagues and camps for students looking to improve their esports skills over the summer.
Led by expert coaches, students aged 8-14 will have the opportunity to develop their skills in communication, collaboration, and leadership for the most popular game titles, including Fortnite, Minecraft, Rocket League, and VALORANT. The camps will guide students through a week-long course of in-game strategies, teamwork exercises, and skill-building activities, combined with the ability to practice utilizing their newly acquired skills.
“These virtual camps allow kids to pursue their passions in a structured, supportive environment, with real coaching and supervision often missing from a typical summer spent online at home,” says Charlie Freund, Partnership Director for US Sports Camps.
In collaboration, US Sports Camps and PlayVS are providing thousands of esports students the ability to hone and improve their skills in a structured environment during the summer ahead of their Fall scholastic seasons.
