NEW LOCATION - Davenport University
The Nike Volleyball Camps are proud to announce a new camp location at Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, just 2.5 hours from Detroit. The All Skills program is open to girls of any ability level. You'll master the fundamentals, develop proper mechanics and gain valuable game play experience. Camp Director, Megan Garner begins her first season as Head Women’s Volleyball Coach in 2010. A graduate of Cornerstone University, Garner began her collegiate coaching career as an assistant at Taylor University under Head Coach Brittany Smith. Megan was part of a coaching staff for the Trojans that took them from just over a .500 record in her first season to eventual MCC. Since leaving Taylor, Megan moved back to Michigan where she has since continued her role as Club Director at FaR Out Volleyball as well as work at the YMCA. Under her direction at FaR Out, the club won the state’s first ever National Championship in AAU volleyball and has taken many teams to the National Tournament. Campers train in the newly built Davenport University Student Cetner. Camp runs from July 25-28, 2010 for ages 10-18. For more information, CLICK HERE
