Coach Rivas designs his camps so that the day-to-day camp routine is comprised of the following five categories:

Warm-up: Foam Roll/Static Stretch/Stabilization/Core & Balance/Dynamic Warm-Up/Injury Prevention   -- Warming up properly is the #1 thing you can do to prevent injury. We go to great lengths to make sure your body is properly stretched and stabilized before we begin training.

SAQ Attack: Speed/Quickness/Explosion/Footwork/Agility/Strength  -- We will teach you the proper techniques of movement, change of direction, acceleration, deceleration, and jump/landing techniques.

Footwork: Catch & Shoot/Half Court Attack/Catch Attack/Dribble Attack/Transition Attack/Finishing Moves -- The quality of your: catching, passing, shooting and ball handling is directly related to the quality of your footwork. Our workouts are literally “built from the ground up.”

Conditioning: With Out Ball/With Ball/Combination/Competitive Drills/Controlled Scrimmage -- Once a habit has been formed it must be applied when tired and at game speeds. Out workouts conclude with an opportunity to perform learned skills in a competitive setting.

Cool Down: Foam Roll/Static Stretch/Core Stabilization/Partner Stretch/Band Stretch -- Cool down is a period vital to the regenerative process. When basketball is long done, you will still have your body to live with. A little time now will pay great dividends later in life.

NIKE Basketball Camp made me challenge myself.  The coaches wouldn't allow anything less.  I grew as a player and can't wait to apply what I've learned to my game.

One of the best camps my son has attended

This was by far one of the best camps that my son has attended for basketball training! Pete Rivas and his staff have an exceptional gift for bringing out the best in each camper! I highly recommend this camp!

Coach Pete was great with the kids, has a very happy disposition and everybody involved with the program was lovely, friendly and helpful. I wish I lived closer and signed my son up for the first session because I would have probably signed up for the other sessions and just camped out in the gym for a month. smile Great program, informative, you can stay and watch your child, the coach will tell you what your child needs to improve and you'll surely feel every penny spent was well worth it. We did the Lakers camp and sweat to never go back after participating in this camp. Thanks Coach Pete!

My daughter loved the positive role models

My daughter had wonderful time. I saw a total transformation. She loved the positive role models. She said, "Mom, I want to be just like them. They were amazing!" I am above and beyond satisfied with the program. She will be going back. Thank you so much!
