Nike Golf Camps in Los Angeles, CA at Westchester Golf Course are back in 2014 for another great season of golf! This program will be lead by Camp Director and experienced teaching professional, Lynn Ralston. Lynn and her staff are eager to help all junior golfers improve and become more passionate for the game of golf.
Nike Golf Camps in Los Angeles accommodate all skill levels; the junior player just discovering the game, the high school player trying to move up on the team, and the tournament level junior looking to improve his or her tournament results. All aspects of the game are addressed during the camp; putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, strategy, rules, and etiquette. Campers will participate in drills, skills challenges, and other fun games throughout the camp week.
- Instruction from recognized golf instructors with a low student to teacher ratio
- Three hours of morning instruction covering putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing

Westchester Golf Course
Westchester Golf Course is a 18 hole par 64 golf course, conveniently located next to the LAX airport. This well maintained golf course is night lit and is open daily until 10:00pm. It is an affordable and fun golf option for beginners as well as experienced players looking to get on the links without committing their entire day to golf. Nike Jr. Golf campers will have the opportunity to learn from Westchester's instructional staff, utilizing the practice facilities and beautiful golf course to hone their games.Meet your coaching staff
Currently, Lynn is the Head Golf Professional at Westchester Golf Course, where she has been teaching golf for over 20 years. She has experience teaching all ages, group, and private lessons, and also teaches golf classes for Santa Monica College. Lynn has been in the LPGA T&CP for over 20 years and currently serves on the Hall of Fame Committee.Read Full Bio
Graduated from Stephens College, B.A. in P.E. and Business Administration. Lynn competed in junior golf, high school golf, and college golf including many amateur events. After college, she competed on the Women's Professional Golf Tour. Received her class A status with the LPGA T&CP in 1993, which in order to obtain she attended many of the LPGA Teaching Schools, seminars and workshops, besides additional training to be a National Evaluator for the LPGA T&CP. Lynn served as a Member Advisor, and National Evaluator for eight years for the LPGA T&CP and Captain of the National Evaluators for eight years.
Alex, a PGA Class A Teaching Professional, is currently the head golf coach at Loyola Marymount University. Coach Galvin has over 25 years of coaching experience and looks forward to working with the Nike Camps this summer.
Jim is a PGA Class A Teaching Professional and currently works full-time at Westchester Golf Course. He has been coaching for over 25 years to students of all ability levels and is a former mini tour participant. In addition to being a full-time teaching pro, Jim also competes in professional golf tournaments.
Brenton is a PGA Apprentice and currently serves as the assistant golf coach for the WIndward School. He has been working with the First Tee for over three years and has extensive experience helping junior golfers.
Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps at Westchester Golf Course will host both a full-day and half-day program for boys and girls, ages 7-16, of all ability levels. The full-day program will run from 9:00am - 4:00pm and include three hours of morning range instruction, lunch, and nine holes of supervised course play in the afternoon. Half-day campers will enjoy three hours of morning instruction (lunch and course play not included).
Our programs are designed for junior golfers to learn the game of golf in a safe and positive environment. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring.
Sample Daily Schedule
- 9:00am Instructional groups - campers rotate between stations working on putting, chipping, bunker play, and full swing
- Noon Lunch and relaxation (half day campers depart)
- 1:00pm Course play with staff - campers apply the morning instruction to the course while also focusing on course management, strategy, rules, and etiquette
- 4:00pm Full day campers depart
