1 Can my child attend if they are a beginner?
Players of all skill levels are invited to join us at camp, unless otherwise specified. We facilitate a healthy learning environment by grouping campers based on age and skill level to ensure they receive the correct level of instruction. If your child is a competitive player, please see our Nike Advanced Golf Camps for more details.
2 Do campers need to bring their own clubs?
Participants are required to bring their own golf clubs to camp each day. Those without clubs can call the host facility pro shop prior to camp start date to seek rental information.
3 What is your cancellation policy?
CANCELLATION POLICY
These policies are in place to account for camp fees associated with each registration that is made in advance of the program. Camper waives any and all damages that may otherwise arise out of any camp cancellation and agrees to accept as liquidated damages said registration fees.
OVERNIGHT CAMPER CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you need to cancel for any reason up until 14 days prior to camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for 100% of tuition fees paid. If you need to cancel from 1-13 days prior to camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for 50% of tuition fees paid.
DAY CAMPER CANCELLATION POLICY:
This policy applies to all non-overnight campers and clinic participants. If you need to cancel for any reason up until five (5) days prior to camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for tuition fees paid. If you need to cancel within five (5) days of the camp start date, you will receive a camp credit voucher for 50% of the camp tuition. Participants who DO NOT attend their registered session (no-shows for any reason) or who do not contact USSC to cancel at least 5 days prior to camp check-in will not receive any voucher or refund. Vouchers will be considered for cancellations due to family emergencies, illness, or injury upon receipt of required documentation such as physician's notes, medical records, etc.
VOUCHER REDEMPTION & REFUNDS:
The voucher is good through the following year for any sport camp with available capacity and is transferable to any immediate family member. Cash refunds are given only if Cancellation Protection was purchased at the time of registration and the cancellation is made before your balance due date (see terms below).
Please note: Any camper with an unpaid balance 10 days days before camp will forfeit all camp fees paid to date and be removed from the camp.
Cancellation Protection
US Sports Camps offers our camp families Cancellation Protection for $100 per session, due at the time of registration. Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of your camp tuition fees paid to date if you cancel for any reason before your final payment date (the first day of the month prior to the month of your camp start date, i.e., final pay date is May 1st if your camp date begins in the month of June). Please note: $100 Cancellation Protection and Registration Fee are non-refundable.
With Cancellation Protection, if you cancel after your final payment due date and at least 5 days prior to camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher good through the following year that is transferable to any immediate family member and may be used for any sport.
Cancellation Due to Inclement Weather
In the event a camp day is cancelled or camp hours are adjusted due to inclement weather, we will make every effort to provide make-up time. If make-up time is not possible, no refund will be issued for the first cancelled day or any shortened hours. If additional full days are cancelled and cannot be rescheduled, a pro-rated camp credit voucher will be issued for each cancelled day beyond the first.
4 When will I get my confirmation email?
A confirmation email from USSC Notification will be sent 24-48 hours after submitting your registration. Please make sure to check your spam/junk inbox. If you do not receive a confirmation email, you can contact us at [email protected] for assistance.
5 How do I redeem my voucher?
Vouchers must be redeemed over the phone! In order to apply your voucher to your new registration purchase, please give us a call at 1-800-645-3226, and we will be happy to assist you with your registration using the voucher.
6 What happens if there is inclement weather?
Camp will continue as planned through rainy weather. However, if the weather is considered unsafe, parents will be contacted to determine the schedule and necessary make-up days. If there is no make-up day, parents will receive a prorated VOUCHER for days missed.
7 What is your standard camper-to-staff ratio?
During group instruction and course play our directors aim to maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio, typically 8:1 or better, to ensure campers receive quality attention from the coaches throughout the week.
8 Do your camps include course play?
Overnight, Extended Day and Full Day campers start on the range/practice area in the morning and continue with course play in the afternoon. The number of holes played depends on the camp program as well as the size and ability level of the camp group. Half Day programs do not include course play, unless otherwise specified.
9 What should I wear to golf camp?
A collared golf shirt, shorts, hat, and belt will always meet golf course standards. Golf shoes are recommended, however most courses allow athletic/running shoes. No jeans or mesh shorts are allowed.
