Otterbein University is located in Westerville about 20 minutes north of downtown Columbus. As a NCAA Division III member of the Ohio Athletic Conference, the Otterbein Women's Lacrosse Team will begin it's second season in the spring of 2013.
At the Nike Girls Lacrosse Camp at Otterbein University, our goal is to stimulate a love for the game by immersing you in the sport and giving you the kind of focused, intensive training essential to improvement. Over the course of camp, your enthusiasm and self-confidence will grow along with your skills.

Camp Setting

Otterbein University, located in Westerville, Ohio, is a four-year private institution founded in 1847. Less than 30 minutes from Columbus, Otterbein has a warm and friendly small-town atmosphere while remaining conveniently located to a large metropolitan city. With 140 acres of beautiful and historic campus along with top notch facilities, Otterbein provides a great environment for a lacrosse camp.

Camp Director
Stephani Schmidt
Stephani Schmidt, a longtime Nike Camp director and the former head coach at Denison University, begins her second season as the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Otterbein University.

While at Denison, Coach Schmidt guided the Big Red to eight consecutive North Coast Athletic Conference tournament appearances, two conference tournament championships and a pair of trips to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
In conference play, Schmidt led Denison to an impeccable 47-12 record since 2001 highlighted by two 7-0 seasons in 2001 and 2002. In 2006, Schmidt's team finished 8-8 for the season, but led them to the NCAC Championship and was rewarded with the NCAC Coach of the Year. As a result of winning the conference, the team advanced to their 13th NCAA Championship.
Despite a 6-9 record overall, Schmidt led the injury-riddled 2008 squad to a 4-2 mark in conference play and tied for second place. Senior Quinn Simmons was honored as NCAC Offensive Player of the Year, Schmidts's sixth player coached to win this honor.
Schmidt (formerly Brzezowski) graduated from Ohio State University in 1997 with a bachelor of science degree in education. She earned her master’s degree in sports and exercise studies from OSU in 1999. While in graduate school, she gained valuable coaching experience serving as an assistant coach and defensive coordinator under Buckeye head coach and former Denison head coach Sue Stimmel. In 1998, she coached the Midwest Region II team that competed in the United States Women’s Lacrosse Association (USWLA) National Tournament.

Camp Details
Overnight Campers
Campers are supervised 24 hours a day. The staff live in the dormitories with the campers and participate in evening activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.

- 7:30 am Breakfast (Overnighters)
- 9:00 am Stretching and Conditioning
- 9:30 am Line Drills and Stations
- 10:30 am Position Work
- Noon Lunch and rest
- 1:30 pm 1v1, 2v2, and fastbreaks
- 3:00 pm Drill stations and scrimmaging
- 5:00 pm Dinner and supervised free time
- 6:30 pm Back to field for games
- 9:00 pm Extended Day Campers depart
- 10:00 pm Overnight Campers to rooms; Lights out!

The staff was amazing and had great credibility! They definitely cared about us and wanted us to do better. With the heat, they kept us safe with frequent water breaks and even Popsicles! I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I recommend nike lacrosse camp to every lacrosse player because the staff is great, fun, and experienced. They have a lot to offer and show that they care. Also, the night games and tournament was a blast.

I would recommend this Nike Lacrosse Camp because it made me a better player to my team and they taught us while we were having fun. I learned a lot of new plays and dodges. It's a great camp to go to if your looking to advance your skill level!
