US Sports Camps and Nike Sports Camps are proud to welcome back Findlay Prep to our family of basketball camps for this summer. Camp is led by Findlay Prep Head Coaches Jerome WIlliams and Andy Johnson, along with the entire Findlay staff.
Findlay Prep has established itself as a premier program in the nation while producing seven McDonald’s All-Americans, seven Jordan Brand All-Americans and winning 3 National High School Invitational titles in the past 5 seasons. This past June, alum Anthony Bennett was selected as the #1 overall pick in the NBA Draft. A number of other Findlay Prep athletes have gone on to play in the NBA, including Tristan Thompson (Cleveland), Avery Bradley (Boston), Cory Joseph (San Antonio), and DeAndre Liggins (Orlando).

Findlay Prep is part of the Henderson International School, just minutes from the world famous Las Vegas strip. Nestled on a spacious multi-million dollar state-of-the-art campus, campers will participate in a variety of challenging and fun drills and competition throughout the week. Andy Johnson begins his first season as the Head Coach of Findlay Prep and spent the previous 5 seasons as an Assistant Coach and Residential Director for Findlay Prep before being promoted to Associate Head Coach and Program Director for the 2013-2014 season.
While at Findlay, Johnson has coached 3 NBA first round draft picks including the 2013 #1 overall NBA draft pick Anthony Bennett, 8 McDonalds All-Americans, 8 Jordan Brand All-Americans, 6 Parade All-Americans, and 34 Division I college signees from 14 different countries. In the five seasons Johnson was an Assistant Coach for Findlay Prep, the Pilots were 158-13 and won the 2010 ESPN National High School Invitational Championship and the 2012 ESPN National High School Invitational Championship.
Johnson was a video assistant and graduate assistant at UNLV for four seasons from 2005-2009 under Head Coach Lon Kruger, where he helped conduct individual workouts and assisted the coaching staff during practice in player development and video scouting. In his four seasons at UNLV, the Rebels won 95 games, won the 2007 and 2008 Mountain West Conference Tournament Championships, and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the 2007 NCAA Tournament. With the Rebels, Johnson assisted in the development of current NBA players Joel Anthony and Louis Amundson. In 2011, Johnson spent the summer as a Player Development Coach at Impact Basketball Academy training numerous NBA, college, and high school players. From 2007-2010, Johnson worked as a support staff member for the U.S. Olympic Basketball Team assisting in player development and video scouting. From 2006-2010 and in 2012, Johnson worked as a Team Assistant for the New York Knicks, Phoenix Suns, and the Chicago Bulls in the NBA Summer League helping with player development and scouting. In 2007, Johnson also worked as a support staff member for FIBA in the FIBA America’s Championship Tournament and for the NBA during the 2007 NBA All Star Game. Johnson has also worked several summer basketball camps including UNLV Elite Camp, Findlay Prep Nike Basketball Camp, and Michael Jordan’s Flight School in Las Vegas.
Johnson, 30, graduated from UNLV in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in University Studies. He earned his Master’s Degree in Physical Education from UNLV in 2011.
Complete Skills: This program is intended to help players develop athletically. The individual camp is a great opportunity for young basketball players looking to develop and refine their fundamental basketball skills. This program also includes a curriculum for intermediate/ advanced players looking to enhance their skill set at the post, wing, or guard position. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, shooting, offensive moves, defense, rebounding, team play, and more.
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.

Session I Check-in: Monday, June 9th at 8:30AM
Session I closing ceremony: Thursday, June 12th at 2:30PM. Departure at 3PM.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
