Berry College, in Mount Berry, GA, is the perfect place to improve your game this summer. Get a taste for what living on campus and being a Berry Viking is like. At Nike Soccer Camps, our goal is to stimulate a love for the game in young athletes by showing them how to accelerate their own progress and success.
This summer we'll be offering 2 camps, one for boys aged 9-13 and another for boys aged 14-18. The experienced Berry College coaches will provide campers with a fresh perspective and challenge them to develop technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of their game through a progressive curriculum.

Camp Coaches
Richard Vardy
Head Coach
d Vardy was named the head coach of Berry's men's soccer program in 2002. In his 22 seasons at the helm, he has compiled a record of 260-122-45 to become one of the most decorated coaches in program history.
Konrad Jacobs
Coach
Konrad Jacobs was named to the full-time coaching staff at Berry prior to the 2003 season, after spending a year as a volunteer assistant. A four-year starter on defense, he graduated from Berry in 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in biology. Jacobs holds a USSF “B” license and an NSCAA National diploma.

Berry College has the world’s largest contiguous college campus, spanning more than 26,000 acres of woodlands, meadows and streams. Founded in 1902, Berry is a private coeducational institution located in Rome, GA, about an hour north of Atlanta.

They give honest evaluations that do not overrate the player, forcing him to continue to improve. They give extra explanation on the evaluation for the player to take home so they will know what areas they need work. The entire Nike soccer camp at Berry College was exceptional. I have, and will continue to highly recommend Berry College as the best soccer camp of all others I have looked into.

I wanted to thank you for the camp at Berry this week and I wanted to let you know I enjoyed it a lot. It was very fun to play with people of different levels of skill and to meet many of the campers on my team because without making friends camp wouldn't be camp. I loved the set up each day and after the last day I took a tour of the campus which was awesome. The school is definitely very beautiful and has a lot to offer because of the large campus size and the overall feel of the layout. I could see myself going here in the future if I had the opportunity so I'm glad I got to be a part of everything this week. So again, I wanted to thank you for the camp and for showing possible interest in me as a player.

I found the drills extremely helpful, particularly the order in which the drills were arranged. I liked starting with drills that helped the skill and then moving it to 1v1 or 2v2 to better apply the skill. This allowed me to be comfortable when I faced full sided scrimmages, I could perform the practiced skill with enough instruction to properly perform.
His play improved noticeably and the coaches were serious about their work to improve players' skills. Many other soccer camps he's attended seem to be primarily run by distracted young adults acting as pseudo-coaches.
If you're looking for an intense and educational place to improve your soccer game, the Nike Soccer Camp at Berry College is just that. The coaching staff is excellent, the facilities are great, and everyone involved provided consistent motivation. I have attended other programs in the past, and this is the camp to be at. You will be a better player walking out than you were walking in.

Tommy's legs grew five inches in circumference (not really but he felt like he got a ton of exercise helping him strengthen)

I would recommend the camp to others. My boys really enjoyed your camp this year. I would let people know that their children/child would be in a safe environment. It will give them hands on experience to improve in the sport and also gives them a little college experience staying on a college campus. It would challenge them mentally and physically. Overall it's a good camp.
Both of my sons really enjoyed the Nike soccer camp at Berry College, and I think it is a great overnight camp experience. The boys met nice friends and had a good time trying to rise to the challenge of the drills and games.
The camp was great instruction and we loved the evaluation that was given at the end of camp. Very helpful to know what needs to be worked on.

They had a lot of fun- it was very strenuous and hot and they were exhausted at the end but they said they had fun. Well organized checked in, kids had fun, and it was a good facility. They said food was good too :)
