Michael started playing pickup ultimate in Saint Augustine, FL and then joined a local league in Jacksonville while in High School. He  then joined the Birmingham Forge U19 team for YCC in 2013 and finished 13th.

When he came to UCF he made it onto the Dogs of War team as freshman and started on the O-line. He later finished his first College nationals with 16 goals, good enough for T-4 in the tournament. That summer he played for Florida United and came back and play for UCF on the team that finished T-3rd at Nationals.

This past summer, Michael played for Atlanta’s Chain Lightning (an elite-level men’s ultimate frisbee club team) and finished 5th at Regionals. He plans on playing high level club ultimate this summer!
