NBC Camps bring basketball back to Anacortes, Washington! NBC camp staff is committed to helping every athlete improve on and off the court. This is a great opportunity for young players to learn new skills.
This Complete Skills Junior Day Camp will be hosted at Anacortes High School in Anacortes, Washington. Complete Skills Junior Camps are designed for younger players at the elementary/entry-level ability. Your child is sure to have fun and improve skills at this NBC Basketball Day Camp. Training includes fundamentals like ball handling, shooting, passing, and defense.
NBC stands for Nothing Beats Commitment and has been running camps since 1971. Camps focus on confidence, goal setting, mental toughness, leadership, intensity, athletic and life skill mastery, and the importance of personal faith and Christian values. Camps are intense and are for those who love basketball enough to work hard.

NBC is excited to bring this 3-day camp that will help young players improve their abilities, confidence, and off-the-court leadership and character. We strive to help each camper grow as a player and person while fueling their passion for the game of basketball.

DAY CAMP INFORMATION
Daily Times for Day Camp: 9 am to 3 pm (first-day check-in is 8:30 am)
What to Bring: a sack lunch (any snacks if necessary), a basketball labeled with name and inflated, a water bottle, and a completed medical release waiver (online)
CAMP DESCRIPTION
Complete Skills Junior Basketball Day Camp
These camps offer comprehensive skill training, motivation, leadership training, and more all within a 9 am to 3 pm time frame. We'll work on core fundamentals such as shooting, ball handling, passing, attack moves, and defense. These day camps are a perfect introduction for athletes into the NBC Camp program and offer a taste of NBC excellence at a pace and intensity more suitable for younger or more beginner athletes.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER
Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well-broken-in basketball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own basketball (clearly labeled with their name). Visit our Camp Packing List for a full list of what to bring. NBC Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this in your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

NBC Basketball Camps offers Hoopgear packages for pre-purchase. Walk into camp and get your gear for summer 2025. This year the Hoopgear offers two package options. The NBC Basketball premier hoodie and the basketball shorts or leggings. Add this to your camp registration and it will be ready for you at camp. Sample Daily Schedule
- 9:00-9:15 Warm up and introduction of daily theme, ice breaker
- 9:15-10:00 Ball handling/dribbling drills
- 10:00-12:00 Skills teaching/station work
- 12:00-1:00 Lunch break
- 1:00-2:40 Games and live competition
- 2:40-3:00 Leadership and character teaching and discussion
ABOUT THE CAMPUS
NBC Camps has been running day camps at Anacortes High School for the past several summers. The high school gym allows players to get tons of repetitions and to compete in a great basketball venue.
Enter Anacortes on Highway 20. Turn right onto Commercial Ave., Turn left on 17th ST, and continue West for 6 blocks., The gym entrance is in the back of the school.
